John
Rowan's Poetry
I started writing poetry when I was about 12, and had a poem
printed in the school magazine when I was 13.
When I was called up into the Army in WW2, I took a large notebook with
me wherever I went, and filled that notebook with poems, and also a smaller
one.
After the war, I came into contact with Bob Cobbing, and he encouraged
me to write more, and also to create collages and haptics, and also to
act.
Here is a list of my publications in the poetry field.
